My Story

Having completed the London Marathon this year I have decided to take part in Ride London 2024 to hopefully complete phase two of the London Classics. I will be riding on behalf of Rowcroft Hospice.

Rowcroft Hospice holds a very special place in my heart after recently losing my Grandad, John Maurice Facey. 

They are an independent charity providing a wide range of specialist palliative care services for people and their families with progressive life-limiting illnesses.

The kindness, compassion and comfort given by all was exceptional and helped my family and I throughout this very difficult time.

At Rowcroft Hospice there’s no charge for any of their services, for them to be able to do this they rely on support through donations and fundraising.

Sponsoring me for this ride will mean other families, like mine, can have the support and care of Rowcroft when they're facing the worst.
