About us
Together We Learn supports children in Ethiopia to strive for a brighter future through access to quality education.
We believe in the power of education to break the cycle of poverty by enabling children to learn, grow and access opportunities. Our projects improve the quality of teaching and facilities in Ethiopian schools and work with communities to overcome obstacles to school attendance.
To achieve this, we work closely with state schools to improve the provision and quality of education by building facilities, training teachers and facilitating international school links. We also work closely with students, their families and communities, to improve access to education and wellbeing by sponsoring students at risk of dropping out, providing pre-school and after-school clubs and setting up income generating activities.
Together We Learn was formed in 2020, from a merger of two charities (Link Ethiopia 1112390 and The Kindu Trust 1069574). Both charities had been operating for over 25 years and working in partnership with our dedicated Ethiopian charity partner.
